Spring Layout Idea

by Katelyn on December 27th, 2006

I know snow will be falling for quite some time yet, but when I see little faces beaming up at me, I’m reminded of cheery little flowers. I think I will create a bouquet of faces in my first spring layout. If you don’t like to draw, there are plenty of stickers and papers with daisies on them that would work for this, but I drew up a sketch of the layout I plan to use. Choose a pretty sky blue background paper. Put two or three “flower faces” on it in a slightly uneven row and then put another one above them near the center. Draw in stems or glue down a pretty green fiber to form them.

I can’t decide on the page title yet. I’m thinking to use “A special bouquet” or “Our little flowers.”

I have a layout using this idea (roughly) I have cut out lots of K&Company flowers and placed some down paper tole style for dimension then I have a photo of the kids in the centre of a flower I created using heart punches for the petals. The title I used is “Praise the Children and they Will Grow” (This is a running layout with one new flower added each year.
