Scrapbook Rewards Visa Card for the Mad Croppers

When I first saw the promo for the collaboration between Visa and Creating Keepsakes, I thought, hmm, is this for real AND how come they took this long?

I’m so tempted to get a new visa card so I can get the funky design! Wouldn’t people think you’re a scrapbook addict? A mad cropper?

According to the site, this is not only the visa card exclusive to scrapbookers but it is also the first loyalty cards for scrapbookers. You earn rewards on your card whenever you purchase scrapbook supplies. I wonder if this is just applicable to purchasing from CK. How does a scrapbook store get accredited? If it’s only limited to CK stock, not so sure if it’s worth getting it. If you have, do share your experience ok?

2 opinions for Scrapbook Rewards Visa Card for the Mad Croppers

I signed up for this card at the Great American Scrapbook Convention because they were offering a box of scrapbooking supplies as an incentive to apply. They said I would receive my free supplies within 2 to 3 weeks of my application. Well, here it is two months later and I have not received the promised supplies and I am getting the run around from Customer Service. Their latest tactic is to say that they will research it. I was not made aware the $100 limit on the purchase of scrapbook supplies until after I received my card. Anything you spend over $100 does not earn any reward. Also, whether you receive the 4% reward is dependent on how that particular vendor is coded. So you might buy scrapbooking supplies but if the store you bought it from is not coded as a scrapbook supplier you will not receive the 4% but one of the lower rates which go as low as .25%, yes, that’s right, only one quarter of a percent. I have found that none of the digital scrapbooking sights I buy from are coded as scrapbooking so I am not receiving the 4% on any of those purchases. So I definitely would not recommend this card.
