Scrapbook Layout theme for Boys

I saw this adorable layout made by a co-scrapbook egroup member, Pia Lopez and couldn’t resist posting it here at the Mad Cropper!
Pia created the layout using Gin X coasters from Scrapbukan, I dressed up the chipboard by painting it with Making Memories paint, covering it with fabric and sewing on it.

Journal reads:
Ethan, you continue to amaze us with your toughness. Almost everyday, you incur wounds, falls and bumps because of your eagerness to explore your surroundings. But, you rarely cry whenever you are in pain. Oftentimes, we find you bleeding with a wound but you don’t even mind at all! Even if we are cleaning your wound under running water, you shed not a single tear nor even bothered by the pain, in fact, you even giggle! Immunizations are no exceptions! You do cry but only for a while. Once, you had a vaccine. But after it was administered to you, you just shrugged your shoulder, gave us a frown and gave your pedia doctor a bad look after! No tears, no yelling like the other children! First week of September this year, we were worried about your fever going on and off. After two days, we decided to bring you to the hospital. But what a surprise, at 39.6C, you were playing with your cars, singing, giggling, dancing and roaming the ER! The doctors even played with you and kept on asking you if you really are sick! You have the highest temperature among all the children in the ER, the youngest too yet the strongest!
Ethan, I am thankful to God that he has given me very strong willed boy…a courageous boy who never cries every time he stumble, a very persevering and determined son. I am blessed, truly blessed! I hope and pray that you will continue to have that disposition in life till you grow up!
