National Scrapbooking Day is just around the corner…what are your plans? I am sure that a lot of the scrapbook stores will have heaps of specials and sales and contests for this special day.

But did you know how NSD came about?

The National Scrapbooking Day was first created by the National Scrapbooking Association as a way to celebrate and promote the art and craft of Scrapbooking.

Quite simple really.

Now for the good part….I’ve checked what’s out there and here’s what I found….some nice giveaways and contests for NSD!

Scrapbooking.com’s 2008 Epson National Scrapbooking Day Essay Contest - First prize winner gets an Epson Stylus printer worth $600

Digital Scrapbook Pages NSD Celebration - they’ve got heaps of sponsors with amazing giveaways!

Fiskars Craft NSD Surprise - they won’t say what they’ve got in store for you but they want to make sure you’ve got access to a computer on May 3rd…I wonder what the giveaways are!
