Birthday Card or Invitation: Sports Theme
The above is a handmade birthday card I made for a favourite customer of mine. She wanted a football themed card for her husband’s nephew who is obviously football crazy.
There were no football die cuts available in my local scrapbook store so what I did was download a photo from the net, print it, cut it into shape and ta-da, I have m own football die cut.
Tips:
1. To make it more interesting and add texture, I have sewn white thread over the white bits of the foot ball although it is not too visible in the photo.
2. I attached the football die cut to the card using a 3D adhesive pop-up to make the football stand out.
Card can also be an invitation by adding text about the party inside the card.
