A Beginner’s Must Haves
There are so many products and tools available in the market that could overwhelm someone who wants to dabble into scrapbooking. When I started out a year or two ago, I didn’t know one item from the other let alone have an idea on what “acid-free” or “lignin-free” means. I was so overwhelmed! I thought I could use any random magazine or newspaper clipping you wanted to embellish your photos and layout with. Scrapbooking is so sophisticated now! It is a billion dollar industry in the US alone! Just goes to show so many people want to document their lives in this wonderful and creative way!
I started out with these basic items. However, my stash has grown considerably since then :P
1. Cardstock
2. Patterned papers
3. Adhesives
4. Cutting Tool (paper trimmer or scissors would do)
5. Pen
6. Album
And last but not least, your photos of course. The photos are the most important elements of any layout :-)

hi shai. thanks! this photo was taken a year and a half ago when I was still starting out. As you can see from my previous post, my craft corner has exploded into a full-blown craft room with paper trays, shelves and double the table space! :-) It is still evolving as I type this
