This is a layout I found at The Look blog’s Challenge to use brads. What attracted me to it? The simplicity of the page, the tidiness of the whole thing. Not a lot of artsy-fancy embellishments, just good ol’ brads, patterned paper, journalling and of course, the photo.

I’ve got a daughter so most of the fonts I download are quite girly. However, with the impending arrival of my future nephew (yes, the first grandson ever!), I am looking for boy-themed fonts and other embellishments that I can use in creating layouts for my sister.

I found this from Making Memories blog. Loved it! I like the way Kim used a bigger sized picture as her background and inserted a smaller picture taken from the same shot in the foreground. I also like the way she cut-out the title ‘Evelyn’ — gorgeous!
